Dr. Stephane D. Blanchet  graduated from the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry from Washington DC, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree after completing her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Florida International University. She then attended a general practice residency program at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn New York for a year then went on to practice general dentistry in Miami Florida for 2 years. 

She then continued her true passion and pursued her postdoctoral training in Orthodontics and Dental Facial Orthopedics where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class with the highest honors, amongst those were: 

• Achieving the highest Academic Average during her postgraduate study

• Demonstrating  superior clinical performance in biomechanics

• Exhibiting superior performance in postgraduate research.

Dr. Stephane D. Blanchet was hereby granted the status of diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics upon graduation. She is proficient in the early treatment of children, adolescents, adult orthodontics and patients requiring a combined Orthognathic Surgery/ Orthodontic Regime. Dr. Blanchet has participated in several missions trips throughout the Caribbean islands to help assist the less fortunate. She is extremely passionate about her career and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. 

Dr. Blanchet grew up in South Florida and is multilingual in 4 languages including French, Spanish, English and Creole. She is happily married to her Beau Jean-Paul. The dynamic power couple enjoys helping the needy and inspiring others achieve their goals. When not crafting winning smiles, Dr. Blanchet enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring other cultures and cuisines through traveling around the world with her spouse, sponsoring school events, exercising, interior designing, salsa dancing, and listening to jazz. She established her private practice in 2014 and is delighted to help Dr. Kawa and his patients and enjoys working with his amazing staff.
